LCAP & Mid-Year Updates *
-
The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year plan that explains how our school uses state funding to support student learning and wellbeing.
The LCAP:
Shares our goals for students
Explains how we will spend money to reach those goals
Focuses on supporting all students, especially English Learners, students with disabilities, foster youth, and students from low-income families
Is shaped by input from families, students, and staff
In short, the LCAP is our roadmap for how we improve our school and ensure students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

Each year, schools are required to complete a mid-year LCAP update to check on our progress.
The mid-year update:
Looks at how well we are making progress toward our goals
Reviews how funds are being used so far
Identifies what is working well and what may need to be adjusted
Ensures we are staying responsive to student and family needs
This update helps us stay accountable and make improvements before the school year ends, rather than waiting until the next year.
-
Family voice is an important part of the LCAP process. Your feedback helps us:
Understand what students and families need most
Improve programs and services
Make informed decisions about school priorities
We share LCAP updates at Board meetings and through family communications so you can stay informed and engaged in how our school is growing and improving. Completing school surveys and participating in our Family Advisory Council and/or English Learner Advisory Council are other ways that you shape the LCAP and school program.
