What is Invictus Academy of Richmond?
Invictus Academy of Richmond is a new grades 7-12, tuition-free charter public school. We opened in the 2018-2019 school year with a founding class of 7th graders. We will serve grades 7-12 in the 2023-2024 school year and look forward to our first graduating class in spring 2024!
who can attend invictus academy?
As a public school, we are open to all students, regardless of income level, previous academic performance, and/or special needs. There is no tuition, entrance exam, or other admissions requirements. Parents with children currently in grades 7-12 are able to enroll their students at Invictus!

The deadline for Round 1 applications is February 17th to be entered in the school lottery.
After February 17, applications are accepted on a rolling basis and considered Round 2 applicants. We will either make you an offer if we still have seats available or will put you on our waitlist until there is an opening.
Applications for the 24-25 school year will open up October 3rd, you can submit an application via EnrollWCC.org. We have limited seats available for the 23-24 school year, so please contact us if you are interested in enrolling your student for the current school year!
Are students required to wear uniforms?
Yes! We think of school as a student’s job and the uniform as professional attire. For this reason, all students must wear an Invictus top— this can be a sweater or polo with our school’s seal— and black, khaki, grey, or navy bottoms.
Do you provide meals to students?
Yes, we provide ALL students breakfast and lunch completely free of charge!
